Dianne Stratton Corzo was born and raised in northern California, and from an early age photography became a life-long passion. Upon getting married, starting a family, and moving to Orange County in 1976, her focus shifted over the next 25 years... but her photography was not forgotten. After toying with her camera for most of her life, she moved to Los Angeles in the late 90s, where she saw a new and unlimited world of possibilities in the photography field. She attended photography school for five years. Finding herself in the different and exciting environment that makes Los Angeles unique, Dianne was lured into capturing with her camera those special moments in the streets of this city that otherwise might have gone unnoticed and unremembered. This became the basis for her exhibit WALKING IN L.A. in October 2005 at the ArcLight Cinema lobby gallery in Hollywood. She has had several solo shows, as well as participating in various group exhibits. Recently her work has been seen at a solo show in the lobby of the Bootleg Theater in Los Angeles as well as at a group show at the Los Angeles Municipal Art Gallery. Her work is in private collections, and she is active in the Los Angeles art community. She continues to photograph Los Angeles and often travels with her camera to northern California, New Mexico, New York, London, Italy, Peru... to experience and photograph these moments, wherever they might be found.
